This page gives a succinct English description of the ComPAS'2014 conference. For more information, please feel free to contact the conference organizer.

ComPAS stands for the Conférence d’informatique en Parallélisme, Architecture et Système, the Computer Science Conference in Parallel Computing, Computer Architecture and Computer Systems. Since 2013, the conference groups the three previous french-speaking conference RenPar, SympA and CFSE. ComPAS is held in French and English: papers can be submitted in English to any of the tracks if your mother language is not French (see the call for paper in French or contact the organizers), the keynotes are typically given in English, as are some of the tutorials and workshops. Posters can also be presented in French or English.

If you would like to know how you can contribute to the conference or get help with your travel planning, send an email to the appropriate person in charge from the organizing organizing committee. ComPAS welcomes junior and senior researchers working in the French-speaking European countries and wishing to attend the conference but who do not speak French.

ComPAS'2014 will take place in April 22-25, 2014 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, between the eponymous lake and the Jura mountains. The conference willl take place close to the lake, in the premises of the University of Neuchâtel (UniNE). The conference is organized by the computer science department of UniNE.

ComPAS and its predecessors RenPar, SympA and CFSE have a long history of proposing a rich program mixing high-level peer-reviewed scientific contributions, renowned keynote speakers, along with meeting and interaction opportunities between junior and senior researchers, academics and industrials, around the thematics of parallel computing, architecture and computer systems. ComPAS has been, and intends to remain, an important structuring event for research teams and individuals in French-speaking European countries, including those who use English as their language of choice.
